DCNR will deploy a 21' public safety boat, with primary patrols to concentrate on the Anacostia and Potomac Rivers with back-up to the LEO and CG patrols on the Chesapeake.
The new addition to the DCNR will be ready for trial runs on the Potomac in late winter 2013. The craft is being outfitted and assembled by the DCNR.
